1. Basic Parts
We have designed 17 basic parts this year. They are mostly indispensable in our loop. Our favorite is BBa_K3734002 because former literature mentioned that GIP promoter can only be used in several certain types of cells. But we have boldly tried in 293T and proved that it can be induced by glucose in 293T cells.

2. Composite parts
We have designed 8 composite parts this year and our favorite is BBa_K3734025. It can be regulated by both glucose concentration and blue light exposure, which enhanced the security of the whole system. Meanwhile, it can be suppressed in a feedback system by miR21, makes the whole system a close lope and be more sensitive.

3. Part collection
Our system has 2 major parts this year. The first part is able to secrete insulin with the condition of hyperglycemia and blue light exposure with high security. The second part can sense the high concentration of insulin and realize the feedback inhibition through miRNA, preventing the hypoglycemia caused by over-secreted insulin and makes the whole system a close loop and more sensitive.
