Basic Information:
The function of Parts Collection is as follows: (1) characterization of anti-endotoxin and anticancer cell-penetrating peptide buforin IIb from antimicrobial peptide buforin family; (2) modification of buforin IIb (MV1 and MV2) for maintenance of cancer specificity and minimization of cytotoxicity; (3) synthetic construct of BIIB/MV1/MV2-siRNA for RISC-induced sequence-specific silencing of CYP1A1; (4) CYP1A1 cDNA-specific amplification via RT-PCR for the analysis of construct transfection and gene silencing efficacy.
