| R.G.C.C. (Research Genetic Cancer Centre)
R.G.C.C. Group (Research Genetic Cancer Centre) is a specialist medical genetics company, established in Greece in 2004 by genetics pioneer Dr Ioannis Papasotiriou, who believes that the key to effectively treating cancer lies in personalised medicine using the information in a patient’s genes. RGCC is a global organization and they work in collaboration with branch offices and distributors to provide a worldwide service. The head office is located in Switzerland and they have state-of-the-art laboratory facilities based around the world. Using world-leading technology, equipment and innovative techniques, their team of scientists have developed a range of tests that provide healthcare professionals comprehensive information about a patient’s genetics, physiology and immune profiles. This diversion from a ‘one-size-fits all approach’ uses data to determine what treatment will work best. We deeply appreciate RGCC and we are thankful for the significant financial support in our project. The donation we received was utilized in both laboratory consumables and auxiliary laboratory equipment (e.g. pipettes, electrophoresis device) as well as in the reagent purchase. We are also grateful for their help in the promotion of our team, for the supply of promotional material and also, our formal attire. Their support was really important for our beautiful journey to the competition!

UNI-PHARMA Pharmaceutical Laboratories S.A is part of the OFET group and was founded as a small business in 1963 by pharmacist Kleonas Tsetis. Today, UNI-PHARMA is a large-scale dynamic industry of pharmaceutical products, food supplements and medical devices, which holds the first place in sales (pieces) of the Greek pharmaceutical market, among purely Greek companies. It is constantly expanding its product portfolio and the markets in which it operates employing over 270 employees.

Pfizer was founded in 1849 by cousins Charles Pfizer and Charles Erhart. To this day it remains committed to the discovery and development of new drugs and vaccines for the prevention and treatment of various diseases. Its aim is to contribute to the improvement of health and well-being of people around the world. Pfizer Hellas was founded in Greece in 1960 and since 2003 it is at the top of the Greek pharmaceutical market. Their vision is to contribute to the improvement of Health in Greece, the faster adoption of innovation and the opening of new job opportunities for young scientists. Pharmaceutical Union of Thessaloniki is an association in which all the Pharmacies located in the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki participate. The purpose of the Union is to settle issues concerning the Pharmacists such as the control of compliance of the legislation by the Pharmacies, the lifelong training of the Pharmacists, the organization of educational conferences and the support of initiatives that are innovations of the medical field.

Biogenea pharmaceuticals is specialized and active in the wider field of pharmaceutical biotechnology, throughout Greece, with emphasis being placed on the fields of stem cells, regenerative medicine and genomics within the rules of medical evaluation in clinical practice. Its purpose is to provide certified stem cell genomic storage services as well as to offer innovative health products based solely on safety and efficacy defined by medical and pharmaceutical ethics. Biogenea pharmaceuticals collaborates with public and private health organizations under European and international guidelines.

The mission of BIOLINE Scientific is "... to serve the Greek scientific community by providing laboratory equipment and high quality products for their work". It operates in a market characterized mainly by rapid development, with the introduction of new technologies, new applications, as well as modern approaches in the field of research and diagnosis.

The IDT-Integrated DNA Technologies Inc. was founded in 1987 by Dr. Joseph A. Walder. It is based in Coralville, United State of America. IDT is a supplier of custom nucleic acids, serving the areas of academic research, biotechnology, clinical diagnostics, and pharmaceutical development. IDT's primary business is the manufacturing of custom DNA and RNA oligonucleotides (oligos) for research applications.

Benchling is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2012 by Sajith Wickramasekara, Ashutosh Singhal and Cory Li of MIT. The company focuses on life science collaboration, both private and public, through creating cloud based software tools for digital DNA sequence editing, designing and running experiments, analyzing data, and sharing research.

| Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest university in Greece. The main campus is located in the centre of the city of Thessaloniki, and covers an area of about 33.4 hectares. It comprises 10 faculties which consist of 40 schools and 1 single-School Faculty. Some educational and administrative facilities are located off campus for practical and operational reasons. A number of these facilities are located outside the city of Thessaloniki or even in other cities. We would like to thank Aristotle University for providing us the necessary equipment needed to conduct the experiments of our project. University offered us scientific guidance from the academic community, communication with external partners and significant financial support covering our team registration and participation in the iGEM competition.
