And in 2019, household hair dye account for 57% of the hair dye sale in China. What is more, in the counterfeit and shoddy products list, the hair dye products account for 61.9%, the hair perm products account for 22.7%. We made a questionnaire about biological perming and dyeing, interviewed some experts and companies in this aspect. To overcome these difficulties, our dyeing product uses natural pigments, and our perming product use short peptides which do not need to break the hair structure. Therefore, our products, which are safe and convenient, have big market potential. Simply select the kind of pigments you want to use and the time you need to spend on each of them and you will see the outcome in seconds!</p></li><li><p>Dye and perm your hairs by yourself We have designed a kind of bottle and comb to make our project applicated in real word. After designing your hair color in our software, following its instructions, you can use the fermentation bottle and the dyeing comb to prem and dying your hairs. Through the fermentation section and reaction chamber, our bioengineer yeast can produce the three basic colors for dyeing hairs and short peptides for perming hairs. Then use the dyeing comb. A big difference between our products and other traditional ways of perming and dyeing hairs is our product can reverse your hairs. In our four systems, we design the decolorization and straightening devices. To start them, the only thing you need to do is adding some xylose. Then the device will begin to work, our bioengineer yeast will produce enzymes and short peptides which can help resume your hairs, Also with the fermentation bottle and the dyeing comb, you can change your hairs to the original color and shapes.</p></li></ol></div><div class="modal-footer"><button class="btn btn-danger" data-dismiss="modal" type="button">Close</button></div></div></div></div></div><h1>Safety &amp; Security</h1><p>As a biological product, especially for people??s use, we should always put safety and security into first consideration. Our fermentation chamber is sealed, so the bioengineer yeast will not interact with the outer environment. And we utilize a filter to separate our bioengineer yeast with the pigments and short peptides we need. The customers can avoid contacting with the bioengineer yeast. Even if there are some problems with the bioengineer yeast, we can just simply cut down the supply of nutrients to kill them. And when it comes to the life-span of the device, since it is an external device, it is possible to refill the device, without having to discard the whole structure, We only need to change the bioengineer yeast of our products.</li><li>To prove the safety of the pigments we create, we did the micronucleus test of broad bean root tip, and we found that comparing with traditional chemical hair dye, our product, which uses natural pigments (indigo, curcumin and lycopene) do less harm to the broad bean root tip. Our project surely faced some challenges as an immature product. For example, it is hard to produce in a large size, and for customers?? use, it costs a lot of time to produce pigments and short peptides. Implementation


Introduction

As for the implementation, we developed a series of safe and feasible devices to perm and dye hairs, including the fermentation bottle and the dyeing comb. Comparing with traditional ways of perming and dyeing, our products are safer and more convenient. In this part, we drew out the specific application scenarios.

Perm and dye

We can see that the pursuit of beauty is increasing these years, many people want to change their hairstyles. However, the traditional perming and dyeing would do harm to both hair and health. So many people want to have a beautiful hair-style but worry about the damage at the same time. So Mr.Tony is born to solve the problem!

How to use our products?

After designing the whole project, we also take how to put our products into real use into consideration. By cooperating with our modeling group, we have come up with the whole process of how to use our products.

Safety & Security

As a biological product, especially for people??s use, we should always put safety and security into first consideration. We had do a lot, including hardware and pigments examination aspects, to prove the safety and security of our product.

Contribution to the world and the faced challenges

Our project is not perfect for sure, in this part, we mention the challenges we face. But we want to create an efficient biological product. We hope it is more than a simple hair dye and perm agent and it do some contribution to the world.
