Lab crew uses PCR to replicate and create high number of APP 696 genes for further usage
2021/0706
Lab crew performs DNA gel electrophoresis to test for PCR results. DNA was then extracted, and performed Double Digestion using restriction enzyme to cut both APP gene and plasmid for connection. The lab crew left DNA and plasmid together overnight to create recombinant DNA

Lab crew transferred recombinant plasmid into competent E.coli cell. E.Coli was left overnight to reproduce so plenty of Recombinant plasmid was acquired. Then, E. Coli was sent to institution to transfer recombinant plasmid to Drosophila Chromosome.
