LISM
The Laboratoire d'Ingénierie des Systèmes Macromoléculaires (LISM) is the successor of the laboratory founded in 1992 by Claude LAZDUNSKI. The original laboratory housed a group of researchers working on the large multi-protein complexes of the bacterial envelope - their structure dynamics and engineering for biotechnological ends. This theme has remained central to the laboratory.
The LISM serves as one of the major partners of the iGEM Aix-Marseille University organization. Director James STURGIS is the main pillar and the founding father of the organization housed by the LISM. LISM belongs to the CNRS.

Created in 1974 as a scientific cooperative, NEB is an American private company based in Ipswich, Massachusetts, world leader in the production and distribution of reagents for life science research. NEB has eight subsidiaries worldwide.
NEB FRANCE SAS was created in 2011 and present on the site of the Genopole of Evry (South of Paris), the French team aims to bring iGEM teams the best possible quality of services.

The company headquarters are based in Madison, Wisconsin and is defined as a manufacturer of enzymes and other products for biotechnology and molecular biology with a portfolio covering the fields of genomics, protein analysis and expression, cellular analysis, drug discovery and genetic identity. Promega Corporation now offers more than 4,000 life science products used by scientists, researchers and life science and pharmaceutical companies. Promega has 1,601 employees. The privately held company has branch offices in 16 countries and more than 50 global distributors serving 100 countries.
Twist Biosciences
Twist Bioscience is a public company based in South San Francisco that manufactures synthetic DNA and DNA products for customers in a wide range of industries. Twist was founded in 2013 by Emily Leproust, Bill Banyai, and Bill Peck.
The company sells genes, gene fragments and oligonucleotides to customers who use them in basic research, drug discovery, industrial biotechnology and agricultural biotechnology.
Integrated DNA Technology (IDT)
Integrated DNA Technologies, Inc. is in the business of moving science forward. They manufacture innovative tools and solutions for genomics applications and are leaders of the custom oligonucleotides industry. Areas of focus include academic and commercial research, agriculture, medical diagnostics, pharmaceutical development, and synthetic biology. They serve more than 130,000 life sciences researchers in more than 100 countries and produce more than 90,000 nucleic acids daily.
FSDIE
The Assistance in the Development of Student Initiatives (FSDIE - Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Etudiantes) primarily finance student projects on and off campus. Projects may aim to develop a voluntary student initiative, particularly in one or more of the following areas: culture, sports, health and disability, education, citizenship, environment or humanities. They may also concern the training of students in the various fields of student representation and community life.
AMIDEX
The organization benefits from an investment from the AMIDEX university foundation. The foundation carries the Aix-Marseille Initiative of Excellence, winner of the national label obtained in the framework of the PROGRAM INVESTISSEMENTS AVENIR (PIA). Its objective is to promote and develop the exceptional potential of the Aix-Marseille site, by endowing it with world-class research and higher education. AMIDEX is experimenting with new actions and functions as a strategic growth lever for the territory.
Faculté des Sciences - Université Aix Marseille

Kalliste Arabian
Born in 2008, Kalliste Arabian is specialized in horse breeding and training. Kalliste Arabians is named from the ancient Greek word for ‘beauty’, kalliste, and uses the English farm suffix of ‘Arabians’ to represent Arabian horses.
The main farm is based in the south of France, close to Montpellier, and held around 60 horses. Today, Kalliste Arabians is considered today as one of the most serious private Arabian studs not only in Europe, but worldwide.
