Part collection
Our part collection is composed of 12 basic parts and 12 composite parts. Every parts are distributed by use category (1. Concanavalin A : way to virus detection; 2. Concanavalin A : Exportation system to the extracellular membrane, 3. Timer lysis device and 4. Bacillus thuringiensis toxins and mosquitoes death).

Best basic part
lexA-repressed promoter : BBa_K3788017
We have chosen to present lexA-repressed promoter as our Best Basic Part. It is a promoter induced in response to DNA damage and allows gene expression in a dose-dependant manner. This promoter allows Colicin A’s gene expression, an E. coli toxin. In particular, it is constituted from -35 and -10 boxes, with SOS response consensus sequences. Plus, we can find the start of transcription coming from the caa-cal operon, used in the biological ColicinA’s timer.
