The purpose of our fundraising activities is to arouse public awareness of rotavirus, increase the popularity of our team project and raise funds for our experiment.

We raised our funds mainly through merchandise sales from online store sales, bazaar, and offline presentations. We have a social media account (WeChat), and we put the link to our online store at the bottom. So when the visitors who finish browsing our website think our project is meaningful and want to support us, they will buy our merchandise from the online store. Besides that, when we went for the offline presentation, we brought our inventory with us. The presentation to the public was a success, and we gained a bunch of supporters. By telling them the use of the raised money, many of them were willing to buy our merchandise, and the merchandise we brought was all sold out.
