So as to publicize the HFMD and oral vaccine that we are researching, we created a WeChat Official Account. So far, we have published three articles, andthey have been read by 3401 times, brought about 240 readers. We also raised fund in this way. We believe that we have achieved our mission of publicizing HFMD and our oral vaccine.

We also made a brochure about our project. It contained the details of what we attempt to achieve and the original intention and goal of our team. Through what we do, we believe people will be more familiar with us and our project, helping us to promote our oral vaccine and prevent more people from being infected by HFMD. Let us together safeguard the health of society.
We also made a roll-up banner for the sake of making more people know about HFMD and oral vaccines. We pose it near our classroom.
Logo & Merchandise
In order to popularize our project of oral Hand-Foot-and-Mouth (HFMD) vaccine, we have designed various delicate and high-quality peripheral products. There were umbrellas, tissue boxes, gauze masks, and bottled mineral water all with our memorable team logo.
Among these products, the umbrella has a black design, concise style. Our beautiful logo is printed, which has a shield outline, which means our vaccine is produced to protect us like a strong shield, icon on the surface of the shield printed the figures seven and one, which present the virus named EV71 that we strive to eradicate. Below the shield is our team’s name, EV71terminator.
Our elegant, meaningful logo on behalf of our termination and courage——protect people from infecting HFMD in a new, efficient way.
Propaganda Activities
Due to the reasons that we want to know about how much knowledge children have about HFMD and oral vaccine, combining with the wish to contribute to the society by translating knowledge to the children, establishment of an educated workshop at the community is a great opportunity for us to realize our goal. We have finished this activity at the community cultural activity center in Tianlin row, Xuhui district, Shanghai. Luckily, there were several children and their parents joining the workshop.
First and foremost, for the sake of being familiar with children, we have done a small game, called "You Draw and I Guess", which means that a child draws on the blackboard and other children who successfully points to the right objects win. Although this game seems easy and a little bit boring for adults, we break the ice between these children and our team members.
After that, we start today's main thesis,introducing the HFMD and oral vaccine. We have introduced what is EV71 and HFMD, how to prevent them, and what is an oral vaccine. We believe that, after our teaching, they would understand this virus and what we wanted to achieve totally. Interestingly, during the teaching, we have arranged some pithy formulas about washing hands to prevent HFMD. In addition, we also designed a "virus"character, acted by our team member, to “threaten“ children in order to remind them of washing hands constantly.
Last but not least, there was a card activity about viruses and vaccines. We designed it beforehand. The rule of the game is that, if a child owns a virus card and a vaccine card matching the virus, he can throw it to the center. We want to make children be familiar with the virus and vaccines so as to prevent the disease.
Overall, this activity was meaningful for us. We not only promoted our project to the society, we also learned a lot from them. Their engagement exceeded our expectations. And, in the future, we will continue to publicize our project of HFMD oral vaccine and contribute to the understanding of HFDM and vaccine.
