Overview

CCU_Taiwan iGEM Team counts iGEM competition as a meaningful and challengeable project. During our iGEM journey, we want to give a massive thank you to everyone that giving us endless support, advice, and meanwhile professional teaching. Primary Principal Investigator

Chun-Ying Yu

Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine, National Taiwan University.

Dr. Yu helps team members to establish the whole vision, monitors the team process, and provides consulting on Wet lab experiments and HP activities.


Secondary Principal Investigators

Cheng-I Lee

Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry, Yale University.

Dr. Lee builds up the laboratory and assists the executive affairs.

Hau-Ren Chen

Ph.D. in Microbial Immunity, National Yang-Ming University.

Dr. Chen gives advises on experimental design, and instructs the wet lab experiments.

Eugene C. Lin

Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of California.

Dr. Lin help team members to sharpen the original ideas, gives advice on dry lab experimental designs, instructs and provides technical resources of modeling.

Dr. Rau gave comments, corrections, and suggestions on the monthly team presentations, video scripts, picture book, and other English materials.

Leaders

Shi-Jie Nga

Leader of the team. Responsible for the scheduling, communication, and integration of each group to coordinate the team's work direction. Think about every essential decision at critical times.

Chia-Chia Tsai

Co-Lead of the team. Member of Wet Lab. Assist team leader to organize the whole team. Responsible for the protein expression for thrombin cleavage test and cytotoxicity test.


Wet Lab

Chun-Kai Li

Leader of Wet Lab. Responsible for scheduling the experiment, coordinating with other groups, gene design, and MIC test.

Shu-Yi Fang

Co-Lead of Wet Lab. Assist Wet Lab leader for wet lab scheduling. Responsible for cell culturing, MIC test, cytotoxicity test, and cell penetration ability test.

Meng-Yuan Yang

Responsible for part of the hemolysis test and organizing data about serious illness.

Guo-Yi Wang

Responsible for protein expression for thrombin cleavage test.

Yun Tsai

Responsible for the cell penetration ability test and the protein expression.

Yu-Hsuan Chen

Responsible for the cell penetration ability test, hemolysis test and the protein expression for thrombin cleavage test and MIC test.

Ting-Yi Teh

Responsible for protein expression for MIC test.

Chin-Hua Tai

Responsible for protein expression for MIC test and enzyme cutting site design.


Dry Lab

Ching-Yi Wang

Leader of Dry Lab. Schedules the progress of Dry Lab and coordinates with other groups. Responsible for design and preparation of the dressing, model constructing, biobrick design, and thrombin cleavage assay.

Hsuan-Che Hsu

Responsible for thrombin cleavage assay, thrombin cleavage assay data measurement, preparation of the dressing, and swelling test.

Chi-Yi Chen

Responsible for wiki design and picture book painting.

Chih-Yun Hsieh

Responsible for wiki design and program coding.

Cheng-En Li

Responsible for dressing design, dressing production, swelling test, and wiki design.


Human Practice

Ching-Lun Huang

Leader of Human Practice. Responsible for progress management and project execution within the Human Practice.

Chia-Pei Chen

Co-Lead of Human Practice. Responsible for communication, entrepreneurship, team coordination, and promoting our picture book project beyond Taiwan. Hosting meetings such as iGEM team meetups & iASK Symposium. Also, running market research & analysis and conducting surveys.

Yan-Long Chen

Responsible for business proposal writing, expert’s interview, the director of promotion video, and the editor of soap opera.

Hung-Yu Lee

Responsible for picture book edition, promotion video edition, and executive producer of soap opera.

Wei-Chieh Chan

Responsible for social media design, promotion video shooter, and production of board games.

Responsible for the director of promotion video and expert’s interview.
