Safety in the laborarory



iGEM Gifu aims to the top-class of guarantee safety in the experiments. Before our experiments started, all of the members of iGEM Gifu took a lecture from Prof.IWAHASHI. So we can review and improve our method and environment of the laboratory for the safe experiments.

Biosafety



In the university duty, all of the experimenters must take a qualification by learning about Cartagena law（" Law Concerning the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity through Regulations on the Use of Living Modified Organisms"）of Japan. Members of iGEM GIFU TOKAI took the lecture of the Law and also studied the biosafety independently to comprehend how we should treat DNA. It is indispensable for all of Synthetic Biologists to learn the ethics of DNA recombination.
