As a team that join in iGEM for the first time, we cooperated with two experienced iGEM team, and we have learnt more about this competetion from them.

With NTU, Singapore

On 30 August 2021 we had an online conference exchange with Nanyang Technological University from Singapore. The online meeting exchanged the progress and objectives of the project of both sides. GXU-China also learned a lot of experimental knowledge from the exchange meeting, such as CRISPR/Cas9 technology and loop-mediated isothermal amplification technology. At the same time, both NTU and GXU-China experiments are associated with novel coronavirus, so the main purpose of our communication is to seek technical support from each other's experiments and experimental help. After consultation between the two sides, we decided to help NTU conduct a questionnaire survey against new coronavirus patients and cancer patients in China, but the interview with COVID-19 patients was not conducted due to safety concerns.
