Looking for sponsors and the whole fundraising process is quite a challenging part for progression of the project. It is essential to prove that the project can be implemented in practice and the results will have positive outcomes. Our team’s fundraising group started looking for biotech-related companies, and possibly willing not only to become part of synthetic biology development in Estonia, but to make the world a cleaner, more sustainable and better place. We sent proposals and emails, contacted companies and later continued discussions about more detailed partnership conditions in person. Also, fortunately our team has had successful partnerships in past years, that has become a considerable part of this year’s fundraising activities
