Throughout the year, our team organized various workshops, scientific art exhibition, escape room, participated in many science fairs, and introduced the fundamental principles of synthetic biology to a wider audience of different ages and fields. And we do not just do it, we do it in an entertaining and funny way. We do not teach with complex over-the-head explanations, we teach while playing.
Learning new information and acquiring new skills should be fun! Estonia_TUIT lives by this motto and always thinks of new ways to introduce scientific knowledge to the general audience. People from different countries, educational levels, ages, gender visit our workshops that are designed to encourage curiosity. We play puzzle games, and through that, every participant learns about the DNA complementarity principle. We create beautiful paper flowers, and participants learn the basics of chromatography. We extract DNA from kiwi, and people see DNA for the first time. All our workshops and events are interactive, and visitors can try every experiment themselves. We do all of this and much more. We teach, we learn, and we have fun!
