AptaVita AptaVita

Contribution

On this page, we report on our contribution to the iGEM community. We developed a troubleshooting protocol for the in vitro evolution experiments to engineer aptazymes and a manual to reproduce our dedicated read-out device.

DRIVER troubleshooting guide

The use of a new scientific method always comes with challenges. We encountered several difficulties throughout the use of DRIVER. This DRIVER troubleshooting guide with many tips and tricks will prepare the future iGEM teams to also take the challenge of using DRIVER for the discovery of novel aptazymes.

Hardware manual

As part of the implementation of AptaVita, we developed a dedicated read-out device. The device allows for the test to be conducted at the point of care. Furthermore, it minimizes the ambient light, controls the temperature and provides robust quantification. This manual provides everything to quickly and effectively reproduce the dedicated read-out device to conduct the AptaVita test or perform any other colorimetric test.
