Weijie Cao

Hi, I’m Weijie Cao As a instructors, responsible for the construction of sweet receptor, umami receptor and bitter receptor gene circuits and protein expression. The construction of taste detection system and the difficult problems encountered in the experiment. Slide presentation software, slide organization and optimization, and presentation guidance.

Xiaoju Jin

Hi, I’m Xiaoju Jin, and I am responsible for organizing ideas, conducting experiments, and recording our life in the team. I hope that in the competition, I can improve with everyone. Huanzhou Yang

Hi，I'm Huanzhou Yang, I' m from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. My major is pharmaceutical engineering. I hope to learn more professional knowledge of biochemistry in the future, so I participated in iGEM. This year, my main task is to provide guidance and advice as former captain.I've been in the team for three years. I hope everything goes well this year and BIT-China can get gold medal and better awards with sufficient preparation.

Yiyang Sun

Hi，I'm Yiyang Sun, I' from the Beijing institute of technology. My major is pharmaceutical engineering. I have a great interest in synthetic biology and hope to learn more. Participating in iGEM has exercised a lot of my abilities. I wish BIT-China can overcome obstacles and achieve good results.

In the team, I am mainly responsible for the experiment and recording the experimental results; At the same time, I am also in charge of the cooperation and communication between teams. I am Tianren Zhao, an undergraduate from the college of Materials, BIT and my major is Material chemistry. Through this competition, I hope to learn more about Synthetic biology and apply them in my future work. In our team, I am responsible for the part of Human Practices and optimistic about gaining the gold medal. Our ultimate goal is win an individual award and I will try my best to achieve it!

Zhiqin Yang

I'm Zhiqin Yang from BIT-China, a sophomore majored in mechanical engineering, who get captivated by the complexity of cells as the fundamental units of life. I've always been concerned about the damage humans are doing to the planet, and mitigating their negative impact on the environment depends on technology. As Dr. Arnold said, "Humanity has had enough help, so why not help the planet?"

Hi! My name is Hongming Chen majoring in computer science. I’m honored to participate in the iGEM competition and contribute my part to the team.I’m mainly responsible for establishing and running the model and getting the results.
