iGEM2021_BIT-China conducted Science Popularization Activities in Beijing Institute of Technology Qiushi School
In September 2021, a joint science popularization of four iGEM teams was organized by BIT-China. Through a combination of online and offline approaches, iBowu-China explained why ethics is so important; BUCT-China introduced artificial meat - the future of food science and ethics; BIT-China elaborated on the ethical controversy of artificial life; BIT explored the ethical issues in organ transplantation four aspects of bioethics-related knowledge were explained, which provoked the students' thinking.
The students listened carefully and actively participated in the interaction, discussing their questions with the teams and discussing their views on ethical issues in biology.
Finally, BIT-China and the BIT team introduced iGEM and the competition format and team composition and sent out invitations to the students, looking forward to their participation!
