Université de Paris is one of the leading multidisciplinary universities in France and Europe. Through its different Faculties, Université de Paris offers an interdisciplinary curriculum in which international mobility and innovative pedagogies are paramount. They were the primary financial support of the iGEM UParis_BME team. They provided us with lab space, equipment and materials to do the experimental work for our project and assisted us in communication.
BME Paris Master’s program
BME Paris is an international master’s program offering to its students highly interdisciplinary scientific training. BME Paris education strategy is based on students’ initiatives and on development of soft skills in parallel with good scientific expertise. BME Paris provided us with financial help for the iGEM registration and helped us a lot with the organization of our work within the university.

La Ligue contre le cancer
La Ligue contre le cancer is a leading French association in the fight against cancer. Its mission is to prevent and promote cancer screening, to support patients and their families and to provide financial support for public research in all areas related to cancer. Their National Scientific Comitee offered us financial help to carry on our project.
Frederick Gardner Cottrell Foundation & iGEM Foundation
This year, iGEM announced a first-of-its-kind initiative to distribute a total of $225,000 in grants to 90 iGEM teams during the 2021 competition season, with the support of the Frederick Gardner Cottrell Foundation. Our team was one of the recipients of this Team Impact Grant.
