Changxuan Li
My name is Lichangxuan.and I was from China Wenzhou I am 17 years old, I like
reading in my spare time especially philosophical book, I also love various sports, such as boxing,
workout My favorite subject in school is chemistry and History I am interested in both of the
subjects. I hope to major in Biology or law in the university that one day I can contribute to
society using my knowledge.
Hak Kei Wong ( Antonia)
My name is Hak Kei Wong and I am 17 years old. I am currently studying at
Cardiff Sixth Form College in the UK. In studying biology at school, I discovered my interest in
anatomy and dissection. This encourages me to explore the field of medicine and its correlated
subjects. Among the different specialties in medicine, I am most interested in neurology because of
the intricate nature of the nervous system and the limitations of knowledge about the brain. Apart
from this, genetics also intrigued me as it plays a major role in medical practice and the study of
genetic disorders. There are also many ethical issues regarding it. Alongside my academic interest,
I enjoy cycling in my spare time.
Lucy Chen
Hi, my name is Lucy Chen，and I'm a student at Nankai High school. Besides my
favorite two hobbies drawing and painting, I have an interest in the biology field too. I joined
this project because I want to know more about biology and chemistry, about how people use them and
make our society better. I'm still not sure if I'll choose it as my major. I'm still trying, but
when I think of the truth that I'm doing something which helps society(even it's just a little), I
feel satisfied. I hope I can help more and more people in the future, this project is just the
beginning.
Siyang Wei
People may know me by Sisi, Jessie, or Jessica, but my full name is Siyang Wei.
I'm a twelfth-grade student at Columbia Preparatory School in New York City. I've decided I want to
involve in a biology-related major in college since middle school. I am passionate about the role of
genetics in people and animal development because I linked up with kids with Autistic Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) when I volunteered in the United States Tennis Association as an assistant coach.
Going back to China because of the pandemic provided me the opportunity to meet students all over
the world who shared the same interests in biology and genetics with me. However, I flew back to the
U.S. because the new semester started. I learned more about genetic engineering through online
classes. Although I never get to meet most of the students, we bonded through science. Participating
in iGEM was the first time I got to work on a huge project with over 20 students. I appreciated how
everyone contributed so much energy to the class and the project, which gave me great experiences
working overseas with time differences.
Yuhan Wan
Hello everyone. This is Yuhan Wan from China. I am currently studying at Hamden
Hall Country Day School in Hamden, CT. My favorite subject is related to STEMs, such as chemistry
and physics. I hope my future major is also related to STEM. Because STEM is fun and also gives me a
sense of exploration. Thus, I will try my best to contribute to our team and hope to work with my
group member well.
Yangkun Xu (Bill)
Hello there，this is YangKun Xu from Beijing, China. I am a senior school
student who studied in the International Curriculum Centre for A-level courses. My favorite subject
in school is Biology and Chemistry. And I hope to major in fields like Biomedicine or Biochemistry.
I developed my interest in the biological study because I found myself talented in interdisciplinary
projects, and I’m looking forward to further development in cross-topic fields. Besides academic
study, I’m also interested in playing American Football and swimming and had been doing research on
the recovering ways for athletes due to the fact that the sports that I engaged in have a high risk
of injury. Through the study of Biology, I discovered the vast potential for future development in
this field. All in all, I hope to participate in this ‘renovation’ and attribute it to this career.
Ziqi Liu
My name is Ziqi Liu from Beijing, China. I am a high school student studying in
Beijing. My favorite subject is Biology and Chemistry. During the process I studying them, I can
find out the mystery about our life that I didn’t know before. I enjoy this process since it can
always answer some questions that I am confused about when I was a child. I want to major in
Biochemistry or Biology in my college. In this way, I can explore more about the natural world and
the human body. I like to play the piano and listen to music in my spare time. I began to learn to
play the piano when I was six. Also, I had written lyrics with my friends and published that song on
a music application.
Jiali Li (Reynolds)
Hi, my name is Jiali Li. I am a senior high school student studying in Chengdu
Foreign Language School and recently I am transferred to AIA American high school. I am seventeen
now. I’ve played soccer since I was in primary school and my position is CB/RB. I love listening to
love story songs written by Taylor Swift and also I am a big fan of Harry Styles. His unique and
fearless lifestyle affected me a lot. I have been to every province of China and lots of foreign
countries and the beauty of nature was deeply curved in my heart. For the academic subjects I’ve
always been fascinated by Chemistry and Environmental Science and I am a nature lover. I am a deep
thinker and determined person and I really want to do something by studying science to stress the
environmental issues that I once felt helpless of. My Chemistry and environmental science are quite
good. I am really interested in biology though my knowledge is limited since I was studying in
normal high school in the past. But I am trying my best to keep up with everybody’s pace and I do
hope I can contribute to the team spared no effort.
Jason Hong（Yang Hong）
My name is Jason Hong, a 17 years old boy from Tianjin Nankai middle school. My
favorite subject in school is Biology for the fact that I have the opportunity to explore new areas
of knowledge and enrich my science experience. And I also hope to major in that field in university
in the future. After classes, during my leisure time, I have plenty of hobbies, including playing
basketball and badminton, playing video games and watching movies. I love Marvel movies in
particular and have watched every single movie of Marvel Studios.
Jiacheng Zeng (Andrew)
My name is Zeng Jiacheng. I am 17 years old. I am a senior 3 student in Yali
International Department. Since the outbreak, I have developed a strong interest in biology. I am
good at math and computer. And I want to study computers at the university. In my daily life, I like
playing basketball, badminton, table tennis and so on. In my spare time, I often play games like
CSGO and other gunfight games which can release my pressure. Also, I like to listen to music in my
spare time. I like some rap stars like Rich Brain, bbno$.
Hongxuan Chen
My name is Chen Hongxuan, a high school student from Tianjin, China. Once I was
exposed to cognitive science-related projects and published the Mach band phenomenon-related papers
on Atlantis Press. My hobby is writing and becoming the official co-creator on Lofter. And my posts
have been viewed over 4.5 million times. I was a member of the microbial experimental group in
school. After a semester of exercise, I have been able to skillfully use the electrophoresis
apparatus, ultraviolet photometry apparatus, frozen centrifuge, and other experimental equipment,
and completed the protein content tests of various drinks. I have always been interested in the
biological and economic fields, and I also participated in consumer psychology, organizational
planning, bidding, and microbial experiment-related activities many times. I am always been actively
performing and learning. Hopefully, through this activity, I can deepen my understanding of these
two industries and make a breakthrough, master more professional knowledge and organizational
ability.
Xinyue Sun (Annie)
Hi! My name is Xinyue Sun. I'm a new grade 11 student studying at Shanghai
Dehong International Chinese School. As the vice president of the Student Union, I often organize
performances and festivals. There are so many hobbies I have developed after schools, such as
playing drum sets, folk dance, painting, and taekwondo. All these are to help me cultivate my
artistic sentiment, exercise my body and enrich my spare time. At the same time, I am constantly
looking for an activity that I am really interested in. My great interest in the biology course
makes me have a strong curiosity about nature. Therefore, I'm working on the Brianbee team
competition. The original goal of the competition was to develop drugs with fewer side effects for
hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, to help old people like my grandma who have hypertension. I
sincerely hope that I can continue to advance towards my target major —— bio-medicine. I believe I
can be a better me and all the hard work will be worth it to me in the end.
Ziyue Zhu
Hello, my name is Zhu Ziyue from Shanghai. I am a grade 12 student now. I am
going to enjoy a biology program with a love of science. When I have my free time I will go to read
some books or play some video games that can let me relax for an amount of time. I will work very
hard when I am interested in. Like when I know the biology program I go to read and research a lot
about the knowledge in the biology program.

Chen Xiangqin is an international student from Chengdu, Sichuan province. I
like computers and math, and also have a mania in science. I have also self-taught a lot of relevant
knowledge in computers and applied this knowledge into practice.

My name is Jerry Liu, I’m 16 years old now. I’m studying in the Beijing No.80
high school as a junior. Also, in my class, I am the class monitor and the president of the biology
club. My favorite subjects are Biology and Chemistry, this is why I can become the president of the
Bio club. In my free time, I like to play some sports, like Tennis, Basketball, and riding. Besides
sports, I like to read books, especially books like legends and epics which were written a long time
ago. I just finished The Epic of Gilgamesh.
Runqi Zou
Hello, my name is Runqi Zou from Beijing. I am a student at The High School
Affiliated to Renmin University of China(RDFZ ICC). I enjoy learning biology and chemistry. I am
going to study the major of biology at university. The first time for me to study biology is at my
middle school time with a humorous teacher. I found out that I’m really into this subject and enjoy
to explore the wide world of biology. What’s more, I am a great fan of bio-techs and biological
engineering, especially GMO and related products. I have already learnt some basic skills for lab
works and some basic knowledge for biological engineering. I enjoyed the moment inside the lab and
always ready for more lab works and experiments. I am the leader of our school’s drama club. My
hobby is watching fun videos，singing，dancing and reading comics. I can create art works and some

My name is Sijia Li from Anhui. I am a senior 3 student in Hefei No.1 Middle
School. My favorite subject is business because I like money very much, and I want to know how to
make money. I also hope to develop my leadership ability. I am willing to take the time to learn
everything about business and put it into practice. I also want to help more poor people on the
premise that I know enough about business. In my spare time, I also like to sing and dance with my
skating blades. I especially like to learn a dance routine for myself in Gleason's gym when I'm in a
bad mood.
Zihao Li
My name is Zihao Li. I was born in Taizhou, a fishery city on the eastern coast
of Zhejiang Province in China. I am a junior student at Catholic Memorial High school located in
WestRoxbury, Boston. I joined the soccer and swimming team in my high school because those are two
of my favorite sports. I also like playing video games, especially Leagues of Legend, Genshin
Impact. Being so addicted to video games, I am looking forward to coding a video game by myself in
the future, so this is the reason why I plan to study in computer major in university.
Zihao Qiu
My name is Zihao Qiu From Guangzhou, China. I am a senior high school student
studying in the Affiliated Middle School of Guangdong experimental middle school. My favorite
subject in school is economics as I wanted to dig into business in the future study in college. I
have a good score in economics in school, and I also got a 5 in AP Microeconomics and
Macroeconomics. I also hope that I could contribute to the field of business one day with my passion
and interest in this major. I also loved playing table tennis in my free time, I have played it
since I was 10 years old. I enjoy playing table tennis very much as it is a good way to release my

My name is Yao Xu. I am a cheerful, lively and extroverted girl who always
likes to make new friends. I was born in Beijing in 2004, and am currently studying in Grade twelve.
I enjoy singing and reading novels of all types of genres. They help me to relax and broaden my
horizon during my free time. I have picked up many useful skills throughout my years of study and
working with others. Even though we might be in a rush, I have managed to lead the class to complete
the task every year, and put my leadership and communication skills into good use. “Don’t pay
attention to the size of the mountain in front of you. Rather, think about what the view from the
summit is going to be like.” That is my motto which I have been living up to. I am a resilient
person and I always believe in myself and my capabilities.

Chenhao Xu

now. I have various hobbies. Including singing, playing games, and cooking. I am a person who looks
a little bit angry if you don’t know me. However, you will find it’s just because my face is always
without too much expression when there is something that makes me feel nervous. If we become
friends, you will recognize immediately that I am a kind person who can take care not myself but
also the people around me. So, I really want you can make friends with me.
Jinghan Xu
Hello everyone, I am Jinghan Xu from Wycombe abbey International School
Changzhou. From my perspective, I am the kind of person who can laugh at anything And doesn’t really
care about other’s opinions. I’d like to call myself “independent”, but most of the times I still
cry for help from my mom. Surprisingly, people around me often describe me as the “quiet,
productive” type since I usually prefer working alone both in school and at home. One thing I always
feel proud of is that I am not a procrastinator. That explains why I am productive most of the time.
My favorite subjects are Geography and Biology. While enjoying the outdoor fieldwork and interview
experiences with the Geo team in my school, I have a great interest in bioengineering, and basically
learning about different life forms on the planet.
Speaking of my hobbies and interests, I am a big fan of sports, especially the ones involving strong
teamwork skills such as volleyball and field hockey. Due to my passion for these activities, I have
participated in myriads of tournaments and competitions including the annual hockey match at my
school.
Last but not least, I enjoy public speaking very much, and I have discovered my potential in
debating and collaborative writing after participating in the World Scholars Cup. Now I am preparing
for the global round in Yale next year, which I really look forward to.

Hello everyone, I’m Tianru Huang from Shanghai Shangde Experimental School. I
have been passionate about learning economics, since identifying financial risks or making decisions
about where a company or a government should invest its resources in the future will be quite
interesting. What’s more, it can support me to think strategically and make decisions to optimize
the outcome.I hope that I can make some contributions to the economics field in the future.
Besides, I’m keen on doing sports, especially table tennis and badminton. When I felt stressed or

shangri-La Women's handicraft promotion, AMC Mathematics Competition and other activities. Hope to
