Team Members

Introduction

In 2019, Tsinghua University High School assembled its first team and participated in the top synthetic biology competition International Genetically Engineered Machine, and achieved an excellent mark. In 2020,the QHFZ-China team also strick for greatness. In 2021, through interviews and selections, 18 members ranging from 8th grade to 11th grade made up the QHFZ-China iGEM team, and we are ready for the challenges ahead.

I am Jiahui Yuan and I am the team leader of the QHFZ iGEM 2021. I've always been interested in biology and eager to do a biology project. This year I'm glad to join the iGEM team of QHFZ. I hope to gain abilities and knowledge and help our team do well in 2021.

Hello, my name is Jovian Liu and I am the team leader of the QHFZ iGEM 2021. In this year, I am willing to learn more synthetic biology knowledge and gain more experience during the competition! I'm in charge of the lab, human practice, Wiki and design. I am responsible for promoting regular lectures and participating in activities at other schools, as well as advertising our projects through poster design, filming, wiki and photography.

Hello, I am Wanzheng Qu, also Kristina. Propelled by my interest and passion in Synthetic Biology and scientific research, I engaged in the whole process of the iGEM competition, from brainstorming to experiments. I have gained so much through participating in all areas of the contest. I’m grateful for this opportunity to experience this much and to have a deeper understanding of science.

Through learning about synthetic biology and doing the experiments, I am willing to get involved into this team and fascinated to join iGEM competition. Hi！ My name is Jacqueline Fu and I am from Tsinghua International School. This is my first year in iGEM. It’s a great honor to be a member of the QHFZ iGEM 2021. During this year of course, I have learned a lot about biology and physics. For this years project I am responsible for the promotion video, and doing the experiments during holidays.

Hello, my name is Albert Xiong and I am from Tsinghua international school. I am happy to be one of the member in the QHFZ iGEM 2021. In this year, I would like to gain more knowledge on biology which I am interested in and get to do many more experiments! Since this is my first year participating in iGEM, I am very excited to learn more about synthetic biology and gain more skills through the competition. I am Collin Jin from Tsinghua International School. I am very glad to serve as the captain of QHFZ iGEM 2021. I am improving as I acquire more knowledge about molecular biology and synthetic biology. I’m in charge of human practice, but I also work diligently in the lab. I make posters and small brochures to let more people understand the subject and why it is important to our lives.
