Judging

We have fully met the requirement of all bronze medal criteria. We have finalised our wiki website, and we have already prepared our poster and presentation video. They are ready to be uploaded. We clearly cited each of our team members work and their responsibility. We put our project design on the front page of our website. Finally, we made documentation on several previous parts.

We also fully met the silver medal criteria. We have demonstrate our project is a success. The construct we made was success, and the relevant gene was correctly expressed. And at last wo have successfully produced the dye we want. During the process, we collaborate with several other teams including BHSF, Jianhua, and BJ101HS. We also host a series of meetups with other teams. As for the human practice part, we interviewed industrial expertise, professors from universities, as well as ordinary people. Their feedback was very useful for us, and we made modifications on our design. At last, we gave a future perspective of our project, and we thought about how our project could make a difference in the real world.

We Met the following gold medal criteria:
Integrated human practice: in addition to the basic HP, we explore more and have deep thoughts on what the real world reflects on our project.

Modelling: We use our experimental data to make a model of our project, and the returned data provide us with ideas of how to improve our experiment condition.

Proof of concept: the experiment data demonstrated that our project works.

Partnership: This year, we collaborate with BHSF through the whole season, and both of our teams benefited a lot from it.

Education and communication: we set up a series of education programmes in the schools in Beijing. We also developed our lectures and course for synthetic biology beginners. A lot of students like us benefited from our programmes.
