Nycole Crevitz:

  • Nykole was a former iGEM Guelph member that provided us with a skeleton code for our iGEM wiki.

Tony Shen

  • Tony is the Modelling lead. He was in charge of designing a model that will help us better understand the molecular nature and biosynthesis pathways for certain chemicals.

Sofia Finley

  • Sofia is the collaboration team lead. She is in charge of internal collaborations between our various departments, as well as external collaborations with other iGEM teams.  Her job is to foster connections within our team, and with all the iGEM teams we have worked with this competition year.

Taylor Ball, Kristen Cimolai, Olivia Gair, Hawi Abdurman, Sath Pinikeshi, Jamie Stein, Danielle Halasz, Julia Leith, Kevin Pirabaharan, Mikayla Walsh, Tevon Pierre

  • The above team members contributed to the Collaboration Team, in addition to working with their own departments.

Enzo Baracuhy

  • Enzo acted as the director of research for the team’s wet lab operations throughout the summer. He organized the educational program for lab members, created weekly lab schedules, acted as a liaison with professors and laboratory coordinators, reviewed literature to design experiments, designed gene constructs and primers, ordered reagents, taught project leads how to perform experiments, and kept tabs on lab reagent inventory.

Sarah Cumberland

  • Sarah acted as a project lead throughout the summer and director of research during the fall. She led experiments and taught basic and advanced molecular biology lab techniques to other wet lab team members to contribute to the cloning of our constructs and the verification of their presence in E. coli, Agrobacterium tumefaciens, and Arabidopsis thaliana. She also created weekly lab schedules, acted as a liaison with professors and laboratory coordinators, and kept tabs on lab reagent inventory.

Amira Bouchema, Danielle Halasz, Hannah Vujovic, Kulay Janneh, Namra Hamid

  • These wet lab members acted as project leads throughout the summer. They led experiments and taught basic and advanced molecular biology lab techniques to other wet lab team members. They contributed to the cloning of our constructs and the verification of their presence in E. coli, Agrobacterium tumefaciens, and Arabidopsis thaliana by performing experiments such as transformations, PCRs, gels, E. coli & Arabidopsis thaliana cell culturing, media preparation, floral dipping, seed harvesting and plating.

Dennis Tran, Harkamal Samra, Mike Green, Nathaniel Petersen

  • These wet lab members contributed by performing experiments such as transformations, PCRs, gels, E. coli & Arabidopsis thaliana cell culturing, floral dipping, seed harvesting and plating. Due to their significant involvement over the summer, they were selected to work with the Project Leads into the fall semester when lab access became more limited
