Kaili Nie

     He got his PhD at Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2009, supervised by Prof. Tianwei Tan. After that, he started his postdoctoral fellow with Professor Shijie Liu at SUNY-ESF, and investigated on the cellulase utilization. Now, He is focusing on enzymatic modification, synthetic biology, bio-energy, and bio-refinery for high value-added chemicals.

Luo Liu

     He studied technical biology at Institute for Technical Biochemistry, University of Stuttgart, supervised by Prof. Rolf Schmid, and received PhD in 2007. After that, he completed a drug biosynthesis project for PharmaZell GmbH in Germany, from “proof of concept” to pilot plant. He is focusing on synthetic biology, multi enzyme cascade reaction, and biorefinery for producing bio-based chemicals including bioenergy.

Meng Qin

     She received her doctor of medicine degree from Peking Union Medical College. Currently she is an associate professor at the College of Life Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Her research focuses on the surface interface of biomaterials.

Yongsheng Wang

     Associate Dean of the School of International Education. Mainly in charge of Sino-foreign cooperation in teaching and teaching and international cooperation and other work.

Shuming Jin

     Mr. Jin is a PHD candidate in Beijing Univeristy of Chemical Technology. He is supervising by Prof. Nie and his focus is Polymerization of hydroxy fatty acid and production of PHFA. He is also an igemer, and lead BUCT-China in 2019 and 2020 to win the gold medal.
