We added 3 new basic parts and 4 composite parts to the registry with information of its sequences and some details from the literature. These parts come from key modules of our biosensor constructs such as the transcriptional amplifiers, intracellular arsR control systems and the violet reporter.

At the beginning of the competition we found difficulties with the accessibility of reliable information in spanish. For this reason we considered research, compile, translate and materialize several of the most common techniques in synthetic biology into a comprehensive and easy to understand laboratory manual. During its development, it helped several of us understand many of the basic steps for the experiments we are planning to carry out, and we hope it will also be of great help to other Spanish-speaking teams who have encountered similar difficulties.

Device manual:

We elaborated a very detailed manual for our device which includes instructions for assembly, correct use, 3D models, exact dimensions for its parts and some downloadable files for 3D printing. We hope it will also be of great help to other future projects with similar hardware in mind.
