SHSID

Collaboration
We collaborated with another 2021 iGEM team, Alpha-LUCO (Official Team Name: Fujian_United). Their team members is mainly made up with high school students around China, especially in Southeastern provinces. They chose to study the feasibility of optimizing ethanol production by developing a gene-edited Saccharomyces cerevisiae functional in self-secreting glucoamylase while keeping the same fermentation capacity.
We mainly discussed two core topics in the meet-up:
1) Design of peripheral goods and related pricing strategy. Since we have started our project earlier than Alpha-LUCO, we shared some useful experience in planning dry group activities with them, especially about how to design a peripheral product list and what factors should be included in product pricing.
