Our team's collaboration has three items: 1. improvement questionnaire 2. collaborative dubbing of the audiobook "The Future of Life" 3. online HP discussion sessions (seven teams are included).
Due to the need of the project, we conducted a social research, the main way of the research is: to create a web questionnaire and distribute it on the internet. The purpose of the questionnaire: to investdigate the public's understanding of mural painting and their opinions about our project. (Details of the questionnaire can be found in the iHP
Beginning: After L had finished the questionnaire and distributed it on the web, the HP leader of the SMS team approached L and expressed their desire to help us improve the questionnaire. Knowing their idea, we expressed our willingness to cooperate. So a happy collaboration began. The contact person was L. He sent the questionnaire to the group. "Ali" of SMS: Is the introduction section so detailed that the respondents find it difficult to understand? Some details can be removed from the "Light Induction" section. Also, the igem team could explain what igem is, since most people will not be exposed to igem without studying biology. L accepted Ali's suggestion to change "Our project this year is focused on controlling E. coli with light induction to produce a colored biomineralized film for the purpose of protecting the mural. to the easy-to-understand "Production of colored mineralized films by bacteria".(Here is the revised version)

"Alice" of SMS: the questionnaire suggests adding a confidentiality pledge, i.e. something like "This is a fully anonymous questionnaire, we will keep your answers strictly confidential, this data will only be used for our project research and will not be disseminated or disclose any of your personal privacy. " L thinks that our questionnaire is anonymous, so this is not very important, but we thought the respondents would feel more comfortable if they saw this paragraph, so we added a confidentiality promise in the introduction.

SMS's Hua found the problem and informed L. After finding the problem, L made changes to solve the problem of blurred options.

In the end we stuck to our guns and added these two questions. These are some details of this collaboration. Summary: SMS revised many questions of our questionnaire, making our questionnaire more rigorous and richer. The discussion session gave us a deeper understanding of Fig of the questions and deepened the meaning of the questionnaire. Overall, it was a very pleasant and easy collaboration with SMS, so we approached SMS again after half a month, this time to work with them on the audiobook "The Future of Life".

The term audiobook appeared around the 1980s, and is a kind of book that is recorded by individuals or multiple people with the help of different voice expressions and recording formats to express the content with sound based on the manuscript. Nowadays in China, audiobooks are a very popular way to listen to books. So we used this method and made a dubbing for a book "The Future of Life". The content contains the development history of biology, and the interpretation of synthetic biology. More people can easily understand synthetic biology and enjoy it. It was a boring afternoon on 8.24. SMS team member: Let's do a voiceover together! Me: Sure. That's how we started our second collaboration with SMS.

On September 21st, in order to broaden the thinking of HP, five teams,GCGS_China, GreatBay_SZ, NDNF, SZ-SHD, and Yucai_SZ, did a HP sharing session online. Each team introduced their projects, shared their HP activities and discussed the problems in the process of HP. We deepened the understanding among the teams and answered questions from other teams about our project. The following are the reflections of the HP team participant, Yanno Bai, on the event.
On September 21st, we participated in the HP online sharing session organized by SDSZ_China, and the teams that participated together were GCGS_China We were joined by GCGS_China, GreatBay_SZ, NDNF, and SZ-SHD teams. This exchange event with multiple teams brought us a lot of enlightenment and help. The event was divided into two sessions: HP content sharing and Q&A discussion by each team. Below we will introduce the overview of these two sessions respectively. First is the HP sharing session. In this session, each team briefly introduced their own project, and introduced the types of HP activities they had conducted in their respective projects, and the process and gains they had made. As I listened, I realized that each team's HP project had common parts as well as their own individual parts. When sharing the common parts, the reflections, gains and improvement plans of other teams could often point out our shortcomings and give us a clear direction for improvement. For example, all teams had conducted and analyzed questionnaires. sdshz used offline questionnaires, while other teams, including us, mostly used online questionnaires. These teams pointed out a problem when they shared that the survey sample was often not comprehensive enough and focused on our online dating circle or one offline location. No doubt this is a problem for us, and this sharing session made us realize it. That's the benefit of discussing the commonality This was the benefit of discussing the commonalities: learning from each other and analyzing the shortcomings and highlights of the HP campaign together. In addition, the diversity of interviewees and methods of each team gave us new ideas. In contrast to the common parts, the individual parts of the teams brought us a lot of new ideas and refreshing creativity. For example, the packaging design of sdshz showed us how to improve the artistry of the project based on practicality, and the edu of gbsz leading children through simple experiments showed us a more profound approach to edu for all ages. And SDSZ's project principles have some similarity to ours, so their HP curation has great reference value for us. The effect of the personalized sharing content was somewhat similar to brainstorming - in the exchange and discussion, the ideas were greatly broadened in creation and practice, bringing new possibilities to each team. This was also one of the highlights of this exchange session. After the HP presentations of each team, we had a Q&A session at the suggestion of the organizer SDSZ_China. Each team asked each other questions about their current projects, and the team being asked did their best to answer. For example, SDSZ_China asked us how the project would be applied, and we replied that we would combine bio 3d printing technology to form new calcium layers on the murals, providing a new way to restore them. We hope that our response will be useful to SDSZ_China. It is easy to see that this session is a more precise, point-to-point solution than the previous one, which was a systematic and comprehensive introduction. We also hope that this session will break through some of the difficulties or bottlenecks of our project. We hope that not only "local people can solve local problems", but also "many local people can cooperate with each other to solve many local problems". And this event is an important step on our way to collaboration. All in all, the sharing session was a great opportunity to discuss the commonalities of HP, and the individual HP of each team based on their own projects showed us many new possibilities. The Q&A session was a great opportunity for us to solve each other's problems during the exchange. Finally, thank you to the organizers and to all the participating teams! - Yannuo Bai In the process of doing the collaboration, we not only became friends with other teams, but also learned a lot from them, and they gave us a lot of advice on our project. These are all the collaborations we have done.
BBa_K4055001 was designed by last year's team, SMS_Shenzhen, but had not been tested and regestered. After obtaining their consent, we tested and registered this year. It also can be used for constructing a photo sensor system with T7 promoter.
