"There are many reefs close to our island home. One of our favourite places to go to is Seu Reef, a short dinghy ride away. The reef is popular for families to go fishing, diving and swimming. As the tide drops, the sandcay is exposed and is a good place for a picnic. Small lagoons are everywhere and as we walk through the shallows, small turtles and fish can be seen swimming across the reef. The colours of the reef are like a garden of flowers with lots of colours and shapes. We like to go to the reef Gadin at Seu whenever we can."
We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of country in Australia, and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present.
