Yuan Ren(Amy)
Hello, my name is Yuan(Amy) Ren, and I am the team captain of the dry team. I am fromShanghai but I currently study at an American high school called The Shipley School. I joinedthe team for various reasons. First, I am intrigued by our project, which is to study a specialantibody to combat the pandemic of COVID-19. As a biology student this year, I would like to discover what we could do for the world as high school students. Moreover, I believe that it is crucial to raise awareness among citizens about the biology underlying the pandemic. Working with the wet team, we successfully influenced the world by our human practice activities, education/communication activities, and fundraising/business plans. Attending the iGEM competition not only bolstered my leadership, but also sparked my interest in making the world a better place.
