During the development of our web application, we have implemented a number of safety measures.
User privacy and data handling
We make sure that the data a user inputs and the output are only accessible to the user himself. So that the users don’t be afraid of the leakage of privacy.
Reliability of the data
The testing data is taken from open databases, such as NCBI, TCGA and so on. The reliable data doesn’t raise ethical issues.
Security of the software
To ensure people have access to necessary tools and information, we have developed an web application and made firewall settings to prevent our software from being attacked.
Policy on Surveys
Throughout our project design process, we conducted the questionnaire surveys seriously. Before interviewing the public, we would state our purpose and promised not to invade their privacy.
