Navarra_BG's team is formed through the PlanetaSTEM Educational Program, which is coordinated from the Planetarium of Pamplona with the support of the Government of Navarra. Planeta STEM, through different activities, wants to promote science and technology to the students of Navarra.

In addition, it should be noted that we are from different schools of different courses and that we did not know each other before starting the project.

Our first contact in the Planetarium of Pamplona was in October of 2020. We started after lockdown, at the beginning of the 2020-2021 scholar year during the pandemic. Here our meetings began with activities to get to know each other and to get acquainted with the world of iGEM. During the following months, we worked on what we wanted our project to be about, its principal characteristics and at the same time, we increased our knowledge of biology and communication.

Our next stage took place in the IdAB-CSIC laboratory at the Institute of Agrobiotechnology. We worked from April to June on the practical side of our project, there, at the laboratory.

Since returning from our vacations in mid-July and until the Giant Jamboree, we are finalizing the details of our project, mainly in the Planetarium, but also in the laboratory.
