Introduction

We have made different constructs to modify the yeast EBY100 to make it express the copper metallothionein CUP1 protein at its external surface. Here is the complete list of all the parts we have created to transform the yeast. As basic parts, we have the CUP1 alone fused with Aga2 and V5 as well as seven dimers. We also have 8 composite parts that are their corresponding expression systems, namely Gal1 – Aga2 – protein – V5.

Our favorite basic parts are BBa_K4035001 and BBa_K4035007 and our favorite composite parts are their corresponding expression system BBa_K4035000 and BBa_K4035014.
