Jialin Liu
I served as the leader of the experiment team during the competition. As a result, I helped organize and complete the experiment while afterward, I wrote our experiment report with the aid of my fellow team member. In addition of my work in the lab, I proposed the idea of performance on the street to raise money for the competition. Using my past experience of performance on stage, I helped raise over 500 Yuan. With my teammates, we interviewed Professor Ma of HZAU. A report was written by me which record briefly about what we talked about. A survey about human practice was wrote by me which received over 60 responses. Moreover, a meeting of exchange was held between Wuhan A, Pro and our team which was organized by me and other members in the other two teams. During the final stage of the competition, I participated in the filming of presentation video. In the video, I introduced the part project goal. I also presented the part integrated human practice, collaboration and partnership and attribution of our project on 5th of November on final presentation in front of all judgers and my fellow team mates.
Zirui Liu
For me, I did not do much, but I did something important. I found the professor of cancer for our team. Then I called many schools’ headmaster in order to find a suitable school for our team. During the school lecture, I took many photos that shows the warmth of our project. During the conversation with the professor, he told us how our project can truly succeed and the student learn the knowledge. These are really useful for our team.
Yixuan Li
I have been interested in synthetic biology since I listened to my teacher’s propaganda on the first day of my high school, and then I formed a team with some like-minded people in order to participate in the iGEM competition. During the summer training, I followed the professional teachers to do a series of experiments of medium configuration and extraction of nucleic acid and plasmid with other students, I also wrote our promotional articles and promoted our projects to others and raised money for our activities and research by introducing our projects to people who eat in near-road restaurants.
Liyang Wu (George Wu)
In this project, I have participated in the creation and propaganda of the Human Practice Questionnaire, created the outline Power Point for thesis defense, engaged in team wiki page, and developed market analysis and strategies for the team. Though the development of market analysis languishes, I’ve learned a lot of experiences and marketing strategies. Finally, I’ve participated in the video production for the thesis defense.
Haolun Jiang
In the project, I participated in the early stage of the project, including the production of promotion video, and participated in the experimental part of the project and the production of power point for display. In the later stage, I assisted in the communication and cooperation with other teams, participated in the production of wiki web page, and participated in the final video production and other activities.
Chunyu Guo
Technical consultant, making the first and second edition ppt with Haolun Jiang, interviewing cancer doctors, collaborating with XHD-Wuhan-Pro and XHD-Wuhan-A, fundraising.
Zhuoran Chen
As a member of the experimental group, I participated in the whole process of the experiment during summer vacation, wrote the experiment notebook, and shared the results of our project in a joint meeting with the Wuhan A and Pro teams. In the human practice section, I led interviews with cancer experts and wrote interview records; together with the team leader, I went to middle school with basic knowledge of popular science and biology and promoted the project; at the same time, I participated in a series of fundraising activities. I like drawing, so I also undertook web design, team uniform design, promotion video production, and dubbing in the team.
Ziyu Zhou
Ziyu Zhou is a wet team member but also engage in the promotion video by writing the scenario and help the makeup of the team uniform. In addition, he was involved in helping document crucial notes of the experiments, conducting the experiments and provided experimental advice for general wet lab workflow.
Linhao Jiang
I'm the student leader in our team, scheduling the things that we need to do. Therefore, I will assign what the team members need to do to them to achieve higher team efficiency, and further explain to those who are still confused. Moreover, I’m mostly responsible for education part. I conceived the content in education part, made the PowerPoint and did the presentation. I am also responsible for the post production and modification of promotion video. During summer vacation, we had a meet up with other teams and I acted as a speaker to share our project and our future plan.
Zihe Xiao
For my own academic reasons. I didn't make a great contribution to the team in this iGEM competition，just during the summer training assisted in the production of ppt. I wish we will get a good result.
Yubing Liu
In this group, I participated in the 5-day offline experiment, completed the experiment of this project in the laboratory of Huazhong University and experienced the newly invented equipment VR experiment machine. I also participated in the design of the team uniform. After that, I went out with the team members to raise funds for our project. I was mainly responsible for explaining our project and promoting iGEM activities for passers-by. Finally, I participated in the HP part. Including browsing and summarizing the groups which won award in previous HP part, promoting the questionnaire (letting more people fill in the questionnaire, to increase the number of questionnaires that can be collected our group).
Shuniu Li
As one of the leaders during the competition, I was responsible for planning the progress of the whole competition, leading the team to achieve efficient division of individual jobs and cooperative works, while improving the cohesion of the team. To be more specific, I participated in the early stage of the lab experiment in HZAU and the exchange meeting with Team A and Team Pro, and I interviewed all three experts of the area of synthetic biology, cancer, and fermentation industry. I was also responsible for the human practice works such as designing posters, team uniforms, emblem, and flag; dubbing for our promotion video; taking pictures for team members and experiment processes; and organizing team building activities. At the same time, I mainly wrote propaganda copy for various platforms. Moreover, I came up with the idea of using the APP “Dream Chasing” and performing on the street for advertising our project and to raise funds, which successfully raised 4000+RMB.
Yanran Zhu
As the youngest member in our team, I have done something crucial, and I helped with many parts of publicity. I constructed the website of our team with other two teammates. Then I helped analyzing the questionnaires designed by my teammate in details. Also, I was involved in the dub of our promotion video and enjoyed it very much. In addition, I spent five days with XHD-Wuhan-A-China in lab this summer and the experiment report was finished by me. I think so far I've contributed a lot and I also learned a lot during the process.
Xinlu Song
The official account of our team was produced and publicized by me. Participated in experimental tasks. We found that through this way, some of our friends and people around us think that our passage let them know more about the biotechnology field. Our official account provide a new way for them to know some information of biotechnology and our future vision. We use the official account to let the public know our project, show our idea to them and receive the suggestion from them, it makes our project better.
Zongquan Zhao
My contribution to the team：set up the dream funding account and editing the content, promote it through WeChat moment ,received 3500rmb in total.
Lindu Li
I am one of the members of the wet team who is responsible for participating in the experiments, offering research materials. In addition, through recording the results of several experiments, I provided enough information for the research program. During the whole experiment, my teammates and I have completed the mathematical modeling. Also, in the part of the production of PowerPoint, we provided information and compiled materials for the mathematical modeling and completed the safty part of the project. In order to complete this project perfectly, we publicized this project to the passers-by, introduced the principles of the experiment to them and had some street performance to attract a lot of sponsors. I also participated in the final presentation. Thanks to all of the people who provide support to this program.
