FRESHMAN WEEK

     On June 15th we were asked to make a presentation about iGEM and our team to the college freshmen, giving us the opportunity to talk to them about the impact of our project and synthetic biology. We realized, at that time, that there were many doubts related to this area of science, which allowed us to affirm the relevance of this conversation for freshmen, since we live in a country where making science is a challenge. Students were very concerned about the competition, with several showing great interest in being part of future teams.

POPULAR SCIENCE

     Our team has made a great effort in social media to disseminate scientific information to as many people as possible in a friendly way for the public to get informed in a relaxed and easy way. Among the information addressed are the iGEM Competition, Synthetic Biology, Vaccines, COVID-19 tests, among other subjects.
