Hi! I am Fion, an A1 student from Shenzhen College of International Education (and Slytherin🐍). I am an Internet surfer, a deadline fighter and a crazy fan of Roy Wang as his songs heal me when I feel stressed. I am in charge of communication and administration in LINKS_China, and I am proud to be a member of the team.

I am Aaron Zhang from Basis International School Park Lane Harbor. At LINKS_China, I am the student leader responsible for experiments, taking part in literature research, experiment design, and lab scheduling. I sincerely hope that all the members of LINKS learned something useful this year in biology, and will take what they learned in the lab to the real world. I'm really not that serious in the lab, not as serious as I sound in this intro at least :)

Hi I’m Patrick, the funniest guy of the 2021 LINKS_China team! I’m a high school student of Shenzhen Vanke Meisha Academy. For our project, I did a few experiments, built our wiki, and help construct our mathematic model. Apart from my passion for biology, I also enjoy sailing, snowboarding, and music. 😄

Hi to whoever is reading this page! I hope that you are interested in, or even better, inspired by the Neoleathic Age project. My name is Chloe Chen, and I am a 10th grade student in BISZ currently. Speaking of my experiences this year participating in the Neoleathic Age project, I really enjoyed creating artistic representations for our team and spending plentiful of time with brilliant people in our team. Although the project itself means a lot to me, every single funny, serious, touchy, weird, or amazing moment inside and outside of the laboratory is more important to me.

Hello, this is Susie from Links China 2021! In my spare time, I really like baking, cooking and studying health and fitness diets, which also led to my interest in natural science and nutrition. I am honored to work with my teammates and to be able to participate in this year’s IGEM. I’ve learned a lot from this amazing experience, not only in bioengineering, but also in the skills and knowledge of art and design. Thank you all!

Hi, this is Dora the explorer. I am a member of the 2021 LINKS-China team. I live in Guangzhou therefore I cannot hang out and do much experiments with other members in Shenzhen, but I still maintain close online contact with everyone. In the team, I am mostly responsible for interviews and entrepreneurship in human practice group and also some parts of the experiment.

Hi everyone my name is Peggie. I am a member of LINKS_China 2021. I was born and raised in Shenzhen. At present I study as a high-school student in Shenzhen College of International Education. I am fascinated by the world of synthetic biology and I also enjoy a lot for our team work during iGEM. I am mainly responsible for the construction of halogenase fre-sttH in dye production.

My name is Kaitlin Liu, currently in 11th grade. In Links_China 2021, I participate in human practice and entrepreneurship, as well as taking part in the experimentation over the summer. Biology has been a passion of mine for years. I spent my free time surfing on the internet and listening to music. I also enjoy musicals, by which I mean Hamilton. People who know me for the first time would think that I’m shy person, but my friend would tell you that I’m extremely loud and has the most contagious laugh.

Hi, my name is Jianxi Zhu, an ordinary IGEM member. Because my school is located in Jiangsu Province, I cannot always provide instant help for the experiment, but I keep in touch and communicate with my teammates online. I usually work on the design and art side of the website, including the experimental notebook. In the holiday, I will take into account the three, in the core part of the experiment to do its due responsibility. I hope to maximize my biological potential during the IGEM journey.

My name is Stacey and I’m currently an 11th grade student in Basis International School Guangzhou. I have participated in the Art group, Human practice group, and in several experiments. I enjoy watching horror movies and eating spicy food. I have a pet gecko and have raised him for almost two years. I love animals and I’m an environmentalist so I’m very concerned about the animal cruelty involved in the conventional leather industry and its alarming damage to the environment.

Hi! My name is Maddie. I am a member of the 2021 Links_China Team. I was born in New Zealand and raised in the UK. Currently studying as a high-school student in Cheltenham Ladies college. I was vastly attracted by all the mysterious potentials and marvelous things biology demonstrates to us. Whether its from the tiniest cells or to the gigantic whales in the oceans. I felt so amazed that I decided to take part in a teamwork based competition this year.

In the laboratory, I usually worked on the production of fragrance and pigment. Besides that, I also afford help in the art, video, and wiki website design. Boxiang "Diol" Wang

I am Boxiang Wang, CTO and co-founder of Links-Spider Technology Co., Ltd. I am an iGEMer who has led teams for nine years, loving synthetic biology and educating young people. I hope to see bright new ideas and the courage to challenge complex problems in iGEM every year, and I am not interested in boring projects. I hope that those of us iGEMer, future scientists, and entrepreneurs can genuinely change the world.

Qing Liang

I am Qing Liang, the Co-founder of Links-SpiderLab. I run an independent lab in Shenzhen, providing customized science curriculum and kits and organizing a variety of after-school programs. As the lab administrator, I initiate project-based learning and invite prestigious scientists to have lectures and seminars. I also invest the biomaterial products development.

I am Tianxiang Wang, a graduate student from Sichuan Normal University and Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology，Chinese Academy of Sciences. I have participated in four national key programs, and my hobby is playing basketball.

Hi! I am Jun Yu, and this is my first year in IGEM. As an instructor of LINKS-China, I help the members solve the doubts in the daily experiment and guide plasmid construction. It is a joyful time to make progress with the members during the project.

Hi! I am Stephen, an iGEMer with three years iGEM experiences. As the instructor of LINKS_China, I am responsible for the hardware parts of our project. I enjoy the time with our teammates, working together to make the impossible.

Hi I’m Zhengfeng and I’m a second year PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania, studying genomic imprinting. Outside of lab I like to play frisbee and I’m an intense Esport player.
