Xiaohan Yu
My name is Xiaohan, Yu, who is a class leader at Jinan Foreign Language School. I am a 17-year-old-friendly-boy. I am interested in biotechnologies or Chemistry. Thanks to the IGEM competition, it helped me a lot in exploiting deeper of my major in Biology and give me chance to improve myself including how to cooperate with others effectively or the caution inspiration in science subjects. In my free time, I also enjoy sports such as volleyball, badminton and so on.
Xingshen Wang
I am Xingshen Wang, a senior high school sophomore in Jinan Foreign Language School. I have excellent academic performance in science and engineering and am good at dealing with interpersonal relations. I serve as the executive leader of the team. Mainly responsible for the liaison and experimental design of various social activities. I took the lead to complete the straw characteristic test experiment and the volunteer teaching activity in the middle school of this competition.
Fengjun Sui
My name is Fengjun Sui, and you can call me Paul for short. My personality can be regard as calm, quiet, and down-to-earth. I have a wide variety of hobbies, like playing classical guitar, collecting coins, hiking and reading. I prefer to major in biological fields, because I am fascinated by the exquisite and delicate nature of life. I hope that biotechnology will help to benefit the life of everyone in the future.
Jennifer
My name is Jennifer, and I’m the orator of our speech, which is responsible for the background introduction section. I have just had my 17th birthday and am now busy applying. I have the infinite passion about biology especially genetics and microorganisms, that may explain why I choose to work on the iGEM activity with my teammates. I also like the psychology and meteorology, kind of a STEM person. I might be really shy in the school but I love dancing and debating so I can also show my confident and outgoing side. And it’s my pleasure to present myself.
Liu Zihan
My name is Liu Zihan, and my English name is Anastasia. Now I am studying in the International Center of Jinan Foreign Language School. I graduated from the Middle school affiliated to Shandong University. My hobbies are calligraphy, guitar and tennis. I am now a member of the ICJFLS team. I hope to enhance my understanding of biology and broaden my horizon through this competition. I also wish to take this opportunity to communicate with students from all over the world.
Kunze Liu (Bazley Liu)
My name is Kunze Liu (Bazley Liu). I am a Chinese from Shandong Province, Jinan. Now is a student of Jinan Foreign Language School International Center. I select AP chemistry and AP biology as selective classes for grade 11, since I am really interested in neuroscience, and aims to be a doctor in the future. I also excels in mathematics and have some base of programming, so I am in charge of modeling our data with another teammate, Concannon. About achievement, I have written an essay of depression which is going to publish on EI. And I also win a second prize in BrainBee contest. In daily life, I like playing basketball and watching anime.
Wendy
I‘m Wendy from Jinan Foreign Language School，I’m so excited to take part in this competition. I have a wide range of hobbies，such as guitar and video games. I like biology the most, the research and experiment always attract me，so I join the team and study synthetic biology with my teammates. In this process，learning to use equipment in synthetic biology and interviewing other people to get more useful information give me a wonderful study experience.
Dave
As you see, this guy who has a very common appearance is called Dave. It is really absurd that most of the people regard him as a hard-working student, but I believe that the only thing that is attractive to him is playing. In reality, however, he had never played video games because he believes it’s such a ridiculous way to recreate. Actually, still, there are valid ways to cheer him up, such as catching some insects, collecting different types of seeds and colorful minerals around the world. Carrying out experiments is also an important entertainment to him，and maybe that is why he is so interested in IGEM competition which will enhance his ability of experiment and gain some knowledge at the same time.
Leo
Hi, Leo here, a year 11 student in Jinan Foreign Language School. As one of the so-called nerds in the world, I find myself submerged in anime, video games, and VTuber. On the other hand, as one of the participants in the group, I would like to stand out, and lead all members into communication and speak. Due to the passion of biology, gene, I am able to introduce the design of the whole project. Besides the great interest in biology and chemistry, I been practicing graphing and video editing to make the whole project not only more accurate but also more understandable. As biology is a subject which people will benefit from the development of it, I would like to study molecular biology and build the connection between the theory and real life, so far, I work as a lecturer in biochemistry club and share knowledge to students who have the same interest. In the future, I would not only stay in the lab, instead, I wish I will continue to build the connection between the lab and society.
He Wenxin
Hi everyone I'm He Wenxin and you can also call me Wency; I am keen on painting, dancing and reading. As you can see, I am responsible for the animation and clip art design in our project. I'm really excited to participate in the competition with my dear teammates. During the preparation of the competition, we shared our views and undertook work together, the most valuable aspect among it is that everyone is full of enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge about synthetic biology. In the future, I also want to continue to study deeply and engage in biology related work. Good luck to me!
Concannon
I’m Concannon from China, and I feel glad to give a short introduction. In my IGEM team, I have two major contributions: set the topic of our project and build the math model. I like to think about some creative ideas and have a clear goal when doing a task; also, I’m crazy about mathematics. This might explain why I have the two contribution. I would also like to mention that my teammates is quite supportive, I feel so happy to be in this group.

Hello guys, I am Eric who is a senior high school student at Jinan Foreign Language School. It is an honor for me to participate in the 2021 iGEM Competition. In my daily life, I am passionate about biology and I am studying AP biology now. There is a library in the student center. I usually go there to read biology books like Campbell Biology. My dream is to develop cancer drugs to minimize the side effects, including reducing the human body's immune function. From my perspective, iGEM offers an opportunity for me to learn biology in more depth.
