Overview
Our project involved the creation of a wide variety of genetic parts, which served a plethora of purposes. Most importantly, we designed four plasmids: pAdAPTED and pAdAPTED2T7 plasmids were used for the overexpression of dNTPs and pPfuT7 and pPhusionT7 plasmids for the overexpression and production of Pfu or Phusion Polymerase respectively. Lastly, the pT7SB1C3 plasmid backbone was designed during the Improvement of an existing part experiments.
Further information around the design and function of each part can be found in their pages in iGEM Registry.
