WLC-Milwaukee 2021 is filled with many hard-working, dedicated individuals! See below for our member's names and hover over their pictures to get to know them!
Ben has been on the WLC-Milwaukee iGEM team since 2018 and has served in a number of roles, most recently as our team lead. He oversees wet lab, wiki construction, and human practices. After he graduates, he plans to attend graduate school. In his free time, he enjoys laying in bed and staring at the ceiling. His favorite quote is, "sometimes your best isn't good enough."

This is Karson's second year on the WLC-Milwaukee iGEM team. She serves as the head of human practices and the lab manual. She plans to work in a research lab after graduation, with the eventual goal of attending graduate school for food science. Fun fact: Karson once ran across campus with a hot ear of corn in her hand.

This is Zach's second year with the WLC-Milwaukee iGEM team. He serves as our certified water boy (CWB) and wiki lead. Zach plans to attend graduate school after graduation. His favorite quote is, "Vetus farciminis aqua."

This is Alyssa's third year with WLC-Milwaukee. She completed the majority of the wet lab work this year. After graduation, she plans to study medicine and earn her MD/PhD to work as a research physician.

Micayla has been with the WLC-Milwaukee iGEM team since 2018. This year, she runs our social media and helped write content for the lab manual. Next year, she is attending medical school. Micayla is also a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran College track and field team.

This is Isabel's second year with the WLC-Milwaukee iGEM team. This year, she organized collaborations with other iGEM teams, wrote content for the wiki, and helped with the lab manual. After graduation, Isabel plans to work as a phlebotomist before going to graduate school for organic chemistry. Isabel's favorite quote is, "I fail to comprehend your indignation, sir. I have simply made the logical deduction that you are a liar."

After graduation, Grant will attend graduate school and work in mechanical engineering. In his free time, Grant enjoys playing golf. His favorite quote is, "We must know. We will know."
