Hi there, I’m Cathy Li from ECNUAS, Shanghai. I’m interested in Economics,
business management, and biology, which are all involved by IGEM. My MBTI type is INTP. Therefore, I
defined myself as a logical, quick-thinking, and insightful person. All of these make me fit the dry
team well. In our team, I spent most of my time studying promotion and marketing research. The
knowledge I learned from my Economics class, Business school, and biology books allow me to do a
good job in the team. It’s a pleasure for me to work with all of my fantastic teammates. I hope we
can get a satisfactory result.

Yuanxi Li
Yo, What’s up everyone. I am Tony_Li from Shanghai, China. I am currently
studying IB courses in ECNUAS, as a DP2 student. Talking about my interests, I’ve got a wide range
of them such as basketball, football, music and so on. This is my first being a member of an IGEM
team and I have to say that this experience brings me a lot. I learned how to cooperate with others,
even if I got a completely opposite idea from them. Also, this opportunity has greatly improved my
experimental operation skills and my presentation skills. Back to the competition, I spent most of
my time on “dry team”stuffs includes tweets writing, publicity, and making the business plan. To be
honest, I was determined to do the “wet team” stuffs which refers to the things in the lab. However,
after several days of working, I found “dry team” is probably more the team I belong to.

in our school. Under the leadership of teachers and proprietor. I have learned a lot of skills such
as how to use experimental instruments, how to cooperation with other and also how to analyze the
problems. Moreover, I developed a patient and calm attitude and more interested in biology than
before. That also the reason why I take part in IGEM and choose to work in the test crew. I believe
I will perfect deeper in biology and improve my ability of communication.
Chuyao (Veronica)Jiang
I’m Veronica, a grade-eleven student from ECNUAS. Taking part in the leadership
roles in the school helped the development of communication skills, planning abilities, and random
response capabilities, which was enormously valuable to the experiments in iGEM. In the two-week
training, I mainly participated in the science experiments as biology is my strength.
Additionally, these experiments provided fundamental skills and knowledge which is beneficial to my
future study as they coincide each other. This is a great opportunity for us to learn and I really
enjoyed the time spent with the team.
Qingchuan(Julia)Wang
My name is Julia, I’m a G10 student from Shanghai. I’m interested in doing
experiments, explore more knowledge and solve questions. Therefore, I take part in this competition
and expect to learn a lot from it. I have many habits, such as playing the piano, draw Chinese
paintings, and writing. I start leaning playing the piano when I was only 7, and I practiced hard
