Competition Deliverables

We have completed all competition deliverables well!

1.Wiki [Wiki Page](Team:CPU CHINA - 2021.igem.org)

2.Presentation Video Presentation Video Page

3.Judging Form [Judging Form Page](Judging Form - CPU_CHINA - iGEM 2021)

Attribution

Done! We have created a page on our team wiki to show the attribution of each aspect of project clearly. See our [Attribution Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Attributions - 2021.igem.org) to learn that each strength is worthy.

Project Description

Done! We have recorded how and why we selected our project on our [Project Description Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Description - 2021.igem.org). We also briefly described the way to achieve our goals.

Contribution

Done! Luckily, we have successfully completed quantitative characterization of the existing BioBrick part, BBa_I764001. You can find more details about it on our [Contribution Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Contribution - 2021.igem.org).

Silver Criterion

Engineering Success

We have done it! We uploaded three new Biobrick parts to iGEM part registry this year. See our [Engineering Success Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Engineering - 2021.igem.org) to get more information about our new parts.

We have submitted these three BioBrick Parts on the Judging Form:

Collaboration

Done! Our collaboration has involved different areas, i.e., human practice and modeling. CPU_CHINA and other iGEM teams collaborated with each other to achieve an all-win result. See our [Collaboration Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Collaborations - 2021.igem.org) to learn more about it.

Human practices

We have done it. We have put their experiences and findings on [Human Practices Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Human Practices - 2021.igem.org) and welcome you to see it.

Proposed Implementation

Done! If you want to know how we would implement our project in the real world, click [Proposed Implementation Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Implementation - 2021.igem.org) now.

Gold Criterion

Integrated Human Practices

Done! As our project was aimed at the degradation of PE which was a significant work of environmental protection, we took a field trip to waste treatment plant and contacted with experts. By doing so, they obtained information related to present situation of PE degradation and corresponding advice provided by experts.

More details can be seen on [Integrated Human Practices Page](Team:CPU CHINA/IntegratedHumanPractices - 2021.igem.org)!

Improvement of an Existing Part

Done! This year we applied site-directed mutagenesis to construct our Manganese peroxidase (MnP) mutants and we eventually obtained Mutant 2# which had better characters than wtMnP. Click [Improvement of an Existing Part Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Improve - 2021.igem.org) to learn more about it.

Project Modeling

Done! Mathematical modeling and molecular simulation were completed, which could provide several helps to wet lab and promote our molecular machine to actual industrial production. All you want to know is on [Project Modeling Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Model - 2021.igem.org).

Proof of Concept

Done! To confirm that our multi-enzyme complex could be assembled, exist stably and have ability to degrade PE, we carried out a series of experiments. See our [Proof of Concept Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Proof Of Concept - 2021.igem.org) to learn it!

Partnership

We have done it! Tongji_China, UESTC-China and Tianjin were our intimate and close partners. We collaborated with each other at different stages and constantly improved the implementation plans of the project. Communications between us were documented on [Partnership Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Partnership - 2021.igem.org).

Education & Communication

Done! We delivered lectures on our iGEM project at three schools and were involved in many activities. See our [Education & Communication Page](Team:CPU CHINA/Communication - 2021.igem.org) to learn more.

Excellence in Another Area

Done! We have created a cartoon character Meddy to link synthetic biology, environmental protection and public art together. On this foundation, we drew cartoons whose protagonist was Meddy and launched a Meddy-related exhibition, which gained unprecedented popularity and made our project have a huge impact on people. See [Excellence in Another Area Page](Team:CPU CHINA/MeddyRelightMyStar - 2021.igem.org) to get more information.
