GENERAL SUPPORTS

We thank School of Pharmacy, China Pharmaceutical University for providing laboratory access for our daily work.

LAB SUPPORTS

Our primary PI, Dr. Meiling Lu, provides us with solid and consistent support of lab space (in Laboratory 119, new research buliding, China Pharmaceutical University) for performing microorganism-related experiments, as well as purchasing necessary experimental materials and equipments. She oversees the overall project outline and provides theoretical guidance regarding project design and experiments.

Our secondary PI, Dr. Meirong Chen, provided us with suggestions and guidance regarding experimental problems and details, including repetition principles of designing and conducting experiments.

Professor Yibei Xiao, chief administrator of Laboratory 119, was also involved in funding, lab space offering and project design guiding of our team. Dr. Yucheng Zhao offered temporary laboratory space and experimental guidance to us.

Yutao Li, Qianqian Wu, Zhaoxing Li, Kejing Ren, Yang Lv, Wenxuan Zhang, Jinxing Jiang, Yu Zhang, Xiuquan Ye, Xiangxu Yu, Chenlin Yu, Ting Zeng, Ziwen Liu, Chen Yuan, Yao Cheng and other affiliated members of Laboratory 119 helped us with many experiments.

MODELING SUPPORTS

Yanzhe Zhang from iDEC_CSU supported us with some innovative ideas on molecular modeling, as well as knowledge on docking prediction. He also discussed the means of using Alphafold 2 for protein complex prediction with us, which facilitated the construction of our composite protein model effectively.

Zhiyang Dou & Boyang Lin, team members of CPU_CHINA 2020, shared their experiences and techniques with us generously, and provided us with practical suggestions in ODE modeling.

HUMAN PRACTICES SUPPORTS

  1. Thanks to Dr. Yucheng Zhao, Associate Professor, School of Traditional Chinese Pharmacy, China Pharmaceutical University for helping us with trouble-shooting about electrotransformation of Pichia pastoris.
  2. Thanks to the staff from the Cainiao Station of China Pharmaceutical University, Jiangning Garbage Transfer Station and other social groups for their great help in our research.
  3. Thanks to the technicians of the Nanjing Ecological Environment Bureau for introducing us to the laws and regulations of express industry packaging.
  4. Thanks to Ms. Qi Liu from Lanzhou Golden Land Plastic Products Company Limited for introducing us to the current status of biodegradable plastics.
  5. Thanks to Green Forest Resources Recycling Company Limited and Saner International Limited, they supplemented us with the current situation of the plastic recycling and degradation market, and affirming the novel ideas in our project.
  6. Thanks to Environmental Protection Online for building an information platform for us, which made us aware of the need to connect with the Internet in order to promote environmental technology.
  7. Thanks to Zhenze Middle School in Jiangsu Province and Zaozhuang Experimental School for their generous support for our education work.
  8. Thanks to Lecturer Weiguang Li from the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of China Pharmaceutical University, he provides reasonable advice and guidance for our patent application.
  9. Thanks to Professor Meiling Lu、Professor Meirong Chen of China Pharmaceutical University and Dr. Huiming Xiang of Shanghai Environment Group Company Limited for their support to the plasticase round table club.
  10. Thanks to Yicheng Experimental Primary School and Bio-X Club of China Pharmaceutical University for providing preaching opportunities for us.
  11. Thanks to the official Weibo and official WeChat public account of China Pharmaceutical University's public platform for providing great help in the publicity of our project.
  12. Thanks to Mr. Guiqing Zhao from Moxiang Art Space for providing us with booth support for the art exhibition.
  13. Thanks to China Pharmaceutical University 3D printing maker studio for providing technical support.
  14. Thanks to all the people who participated, visited, helped and guided our project.
  15. All the people and organizations mentioned above contributed a lot to our project.

OTHER SUPPORTS

Our PIs also helped us promote our project by participating in iGEM team meetups as project judges. In addition, Dr. Meirong Chen also worked as the leading teacher of our team attending the “Bio+” Innovation & Entrepreneurship conference hosted in Hangzhou, China in late October.

Jiawei Wu is the doctoral student of Prof. Haiping Hao from China Pharmaceutical University. He helped us with the design and technical details of qPCR experiments. He also generously provided us with necessary reagents and equipment when we were in urgent need.

Xuanhong Hui is the master student of Prof. Xuefang Luo from China Pharmaceutical University. She assisted us with the set up and utilization of ATR infrared spectroscopy for PE-degradation analysis.

THANKS

Thank DUT_China, NAU-CHINA, NEFU_China, Tianjin, Tongji_China and UESTC-China for cooperating with our team.

SPONSORS

We thank Snapgene for providing us with software support throughout the season of 2021 iGEM competition.
