- Told em about our idea so far
- What are the theoretical maximums, what are the conditions that we'll have to emulate
- Salt stress emulating - Arya's idea
- Co-culture modelling
- They're doing:
- Methanogenesis, bromoform in the cow rumen (e coli produced)
- 1) model how the e coli works in the rumen's environment
- 2) model after the bromoform is produced and how it stops methanogenesis
- Collabing with Michigan State University and all for managing the modelling of what happens when methanogenesis is stopped (some other prof too)
- Free representative species?
- Two ways: both are with steady state
- Not very familiar with dynamic modelling, seems like the parameters are hard to find even for well studied organisms
- Methanogenesis, bromoform in the cow rumen (e coli produced)
- We probably need wet lab results to start with dynamic modelling
- They're doing:
- Sharing resources, model ideas
- If we use different techniques, we can confirm for each other using them
- If we use the same we can verify for each other
- The former would have a pretty good basis for validating each other's projects
- Can also share code frameworks
- Whatsapp groups for discussing doubts etc.
