Lab safety

Our team pays a lot attention to safety during experiment. The main part of our experiment was conducted in BHSF biochemistry laboratory, which is a well-equipped and advanced lab for high school students. Our lab is equipped with fire extinguishers, eye wash equipment, cotton lab coat, heat insulation gloves, anti-erode glove, respiratory, and safety spectacles. The clean bench is used when we operating the gene-edited E.coli. In every step of the experiment, our team members wear rubber gloves. Besides, all members in our team is well-educated with Good Laboratory Practice before the experiment starts. In school laboratory, there is a sheet of laboratory safety protocol sticks on the wall, reminding us what we should and should not do when conduct experiment.
